Tiune's named differentiator, and it went further than this page promised. On Pro, a single sentence can now hold more than one language — start in Urdu, land in English — and the whole thing comes out in Roman letters by default, in one pass, with nothing to switch between.
Cloud transcription in 90+ languages on Pro, and an AI cleanup pass on Plus. Bring-your-own-key is gone rather than optional: the keys live on our side now, so you never supply, manage or pay for a provider key.
The same hold-and-speak loop, natively on Windows. Push-to-talk is right Alt there rather than Alt+Space, because Alt+Space has meant the window menu since 1990.
The rewriting pass is the one part of Tiune that leaves your machine. A small on-device model is in training to do the same work offline, so the Free tier reads as well as the paid ones and nothing has to be sent anywhere.
The desktop loop assumes a key you can hold and a cursor to type into. Neither exists on a phone, so this is a design problem before it is an engineering one — which is why it is last on this list rather than first.
